Records

It shall be the primary responsibility of this unit to maintain all records pertaining to the daily activities of the Police Department. The unit members will organize and file all incident reports on a daily basis, provide discovery to requesting attorney’s, as well as make computer entries into the in-house system, CODY, NCIC and the stationhouse blotter. The Unit Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all supplies necessary for the efficient operation of the unit. Upon their completion, all specified case documents will be scanned into our records management system by unit members on a periodic basis.
